In the morning we walked over the road to Macas for a healthy breakfast and strong coffee and got away about 8ish, not on a particular timeframe and in no rush. We stopped for a couple of pics at Yvonne’s Tennis Racquet in Barellan. My idea, I’ve ridden past it on two different bikes in a month
After Barellan we turned north and fuelled up at West Wyalong and rode up through Forbes, Parkes and finally Dubbo where Karl and now Wicked Kate were home
After some water and coffee Karl escorted me out of town (you really didn’t need to Karl I was keeping an eye out for Tenere seeking utes) and aside from a quick break at Merriwa I didn’t put my feet down more than three times until I rode into my garage, another 780k’s on the bike.
I was glad Karl got home in one piece and pretty happy to be home myself. It was the end of a big five days that saw me ride just shy of 5000kms over four of them and STEN this week’s done nearly as many k’s as it did last year. Gotta be happy with that!
